Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge – 100k Trek

On June 22nd-23rd 2024, Ally Ilott, the Founder and Managing Director of Heritage Estate Planning is taking part in the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge to raise money for a local family. Earlier this year, Jess was diagnosed with a brain tumour and after surgery was told the tumour was a grade 4 Astrocytoma – not the news her family were hoping for. Jess is a real fighter and we remain positive, but as well as the emotional strain of dealing with this news, there are financial practicalities as well and a Just Giving page that has been set up by Jess’ friend to help support the whole family. Jess is the mum of two young children and her partner is self employed – it’s so important to help support this family at such a difficult time.

The Cotswold Way route holds some amazing views for Ally but the 2250 metres of climb will make this challenge her toughest to date! Last year, Ally took on The London 2 Brighton Ultra challenge with her partner, Paul, and said “It was genuinely the hardest physical thing I have ever done, but the support I had from friends, clients and the business community was incredible. Once my blisters heal, I will be looking for the next challenge!” And look for the next challenge she certainly did! We wish Ally every success as she takes on The Cotswold Way and you can read more about the cause she is supporting here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/keepfightingJess

London to Brighton 100K Trek

We’re excited to share the news that Ally Ilott, the Founder and Managing Director of Heritage Estate Planning completed the  London to Brighton 100K trek in May 2023 to raise money for a local charity, Project Salama, helping victims of domestic abuse. In its 11th year, the route transcends from the capital to the coast through Surrey and Sussex before hitting the Brighton coastline.  Ally said ‘It was genuinely the hardest physical thing I have ever done, but the support I had from friends, clients and the business community  was incredible.  Once my blisters heal, I will be looking for the next challenge!’

Reading Half Marathon

Earlier this year, Ally Ilott of Heritage Estate Planning took part in the Reading Half Marathon to raise money for charity and to complete a personal goal. The half marathon saw Ally run 21km, starting and finishing at the home of Reading FC, the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
