Ally llott

Managing Director
I founded Heritage Estate Planning following a successful 22-year career in Financial Planning. I felt that there was a lack of high-quality professional estate planning services for people looking for an alternative to a Solicitor and I am extremely proud of the reputation we have built over the last four years. As a Financial Advisor, I was very aware that a high proportion of adults do not have wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney in place and felt strongly that I wanted to help change this. My previous knowledge and experience helps ensure our clients receive high quality advice and guidance with exceptional service personally, delivered by myself and Sarah. Part of my role is to build and develop strong relationships with professional partners, such as Financial Advisors, Mortgage Brokers and Accountants. It is vitally important to me that I have experts I trust on hand to refer our clients to for all their financial needs. I pride myself on keeping my knowledge up to date and have been awarded distinctions on exams taken through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and have recently embarked on the STEP level 6 qualification in wills and succession. I live at home in Newbury with my three children and have an older daughter who lives in Copenhagen. I love running, listening to music and meeting friends (virtually at the moment, due to the COVID-19 situation!).

Sarah Durrant

Office Manager
My background has been across both inhouse Corporate Legal teams and private law firms, in both support and paralegal roles. I joined the company in 2019 after some time out with my children and look forward to new great challenges and building the business with Ally over the coming years. I have very good attention to detail and work in a thorough way to ensure that we offer exceptional service to all our clients. My role is to develop and improve the systems and processes we use to make things more efficient and smoother for our clients. I am very proud of the work we do for our clients and our professional partners and getting positive feedback really makes my day. I already hold a CILEx Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Legal Studies and am very excited that I have commenced studying for the CILEx Level 3 Certificate in Wills and Probate. I live at home in Thatcham with my two children. I also have an older daughter and two grandchildren who live locally. I enjoy going to music concerts and trying to keep fit!

Leanne Gosling

Legal Administration Assistant
I have over 30 years of administration experience ranging from family run businesses, SME’s to Corporate. I have worked in various sectors including construction, finance, public health, pharmaceuticals and education. I have supported all levels of employers up to and including Managing Directors and Partners. I hold a Business and Administration Qualification as well as a Bookkeeping Diploma and a Secretarial Diploma. I joined Heritage Estate Planning in May 2021. I have learnt a vast amount about the business in the short time I’ve been with Heritage and I am looking forward to learning more about the business. I am optimistic about going from strength to strength with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. My aim for the business is to provide a friendly and efficient administration service while putting the clients needs first. Outside of work I enjoy socialising and spending time with my family.

Helen Davies

Estate Planning Consultant
Having taken voluntary redundancy from a corporate company I had worked with for over 25 years, I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to work alongside Heritage Estate Planning as a Self-Employed Consultant based in the Southeast of England. My previous experience of customer service makes this position ideal for me as my aim is to always strive to provide a first-class service to my clients. I do that by carrying out free initial discussions where we discuss key roles, current family situations and look further than the obvious when it comes to the distribution of the estate. Once the clients are happy to proceed, we arrange either a face to face or video conference meeting for me to take their full instructions. I take pride in ensuring I am there to fully explore potential issues and work with my clients to provide personalised plans. I also talk through the “here and now” and organise Lasting Power of Attorney for both Health & Wealth, ensuring complete peace of mind both now and in the future. I live in Kent and am married with one stepdaughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, socialising with friends and have found a new passion for health & fitness. I love holidays abroad where I can explore new places and enjoy some rest and relaxation.
