We provide an affordable and professional will writing and Lasting Power of Attorney service to clients throughout England and Wales. We usually visit all clients in their own home, but for safety reasons all our appointments will be completed remotely via zoom or telephone until the government's social distancing measures cease.
When you contact us with regards to making a will, we will arrange an initial telphone/zoom appointment to take down all the information necessary for your wishes to be formalised into a legally binding document (your will). At this time we will send you our letter of engagment for you to read through and sign. When a full set of instructions have been taken your will is drafted by our experienced CILEx practitioner and a draft version of the document is sent to you via password-protected email (or post if you prefer).
When you have either confirmed that your draft will is entirely accurate or, alternatively, have advised us of any changes or additions that need to be made, we prepare your final will and send this to you with comprehensive signing instructions to ensure your will is legally valid.
Where Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) documents are required we will take down a full set of instructions and offer guidance on choosing suitable attorneys. Our legal team will then complete the LPA documents on your behalf and will send them to you for your approval. When the documents have been signed by yourself and all other parties, we will submit the LPA forms to the Office of the Public Guardian to be registered for use. Our legal team are always on hand to offer guidance and support so if you have any questions please give us a call today on 01635 292356.
